Muntakhab al-Husami

منتخب الحسامي

The acclaimed Muntakhab al-Husami is one of the best intermediate works in the Hanafi Usul al-Fiqh tradition and one which was subject to lengthy commentaries by great Hanafi imams, including Hafiz al-Din al-Nasafi (Sharh al-Muntakhab), Qawwam al-Din al-Itqani (al-Tabyin) and ‘Abd al-‘Aziz al-Bukhari (al-Tahqiq). Drawing from Bazdawi’s masterpiece and summary of Dabusi’s Taqwim al-Adilla, this excellent presentation of usul is worthy of the time and attention of both traditional students and researchers alike.
