Samt al-Wusul

سمت الوصول إلى علم الأصول

Samt al-Wusul is arguably the best abridgement of Nasafi’s acclaimed al-Manar in Hanafi Legal Theory (usul). The Ottoman-Bosnisan, Aqhisari, author of numerous highly beneficial works across different sciences, explained that he chose to write this text to explicate the masa’il of the Manar with greater clarity. In doing so, he brilliantly rearranges the text so that the rules flow in a more accessible manner for the student. Notably, Haji Khalifa also commends this work for its ordering and precision in his Kashf al-Zunun. This is an excellent step before one dives into the Manar itself.
